Help
Answers to the questions we hear most. If something here does not cover it, you can reach us at support@interviewsparrow.ai.
Account & access
Email changes are not self-service yet. Write to support@interviewsparrow.ai from your current address and we will move your account.
You can delete your account from Your data, then Delete account. After a 30-day grace window your transcripts, reports, resume, and account data are permanently removed. You can’t delete it while it belongs to an organisation’s workspace, or within 30 days of an interview an employer set up.
Use the reset link on the sign-in page to set a new one. If you signed up with Google, sign in with Google instead of a password.
Write to our grievance officer, Harish Seth, at support@interviewsparrow.ai: we acknowledge a complaint within 48 hours and resolve it within one month. If you are not satisfied, you can get help from the National Consumer Helpline (1915), file with the Consumer Commission on e-Daakhil, or, about your personal data, go to the Data Protection Board of India. If you live outside India, you can also use your local consumer or data-protection authority.
Credits & pricing
A desktop or laptop — the interview runs there, not on a phone or tablet, because they cannot share a screen. You need a working microphone and webcam, with the webcam on for the whole conversation and your entire screen shared, and you can read this site and create your account on a phone first. If an employer’s invitation says your interview also uses your phone as a second camera, you need that phone too: see phone camera help.
No free interview, but every new account gets a 4-credit sign-up bonus, valid for 30 days. Credits are prepaid interview time that you buy before you use it: 10 cover a 30-minute interview, 20 the full hour. Every practice interview comes with its full report, scored across all seven dimensions.
Credits you buy never expire — they wait in your account until you use them. The 4-credit sign-up bonus is the exception: it expires 30 days after sign-up if unused.
No, purchases are not refunded as cash. If an interview fails on our side, its credits come back to you, and if Resume Studio fails on our side we make it good with a re-run, a regenerated Output or a Pass extension. To claim, raise it from Help & feedback within 7 days; the full rules are in the Terms of Service under Refunds and make-goods.
If an interview fails on our side and our systems spot it, its credits come back automatically, so you are not charged. If we missed it, or Resume Studio failed on our side, raise it from Help & feedback within 7 days and we will make it good.
Prices show in your account’s currency, which is set when you sign up and stays the same afterwards. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay.
Privacy & data
We keep your data until you delete it, except a Resume Studio draft you have not bought a download for, which is deleted 90 days after you last edited it. When you delete your account, your data is purged after a 30-day grace window, except a one-way hash of your email that keeps the deletion in force and the support requests you sent, without their screenshots; an employer keeps its own copy of an interview it set up. If you belong to an organisation’s workspace, or took an interview an employer set up in the last 30 days, you can request deletion once you have left it or that window has passed.
Your account, transcripts, reports and recordings are stored in India (AWS Mumbai). Live voice, screen images and AI analysis use providers outside India, and the Privacy Policy names each one.
Open Your data and choose Export your data. We email you a download link that expires after seven days.
OpenRouter is the gateway we use to run the language-model analysis behind your report, your resume and the live view of your shared screen. Parsed resume, job-description and transcript text are sent there, and so are still images of your shared screen (and, in an interview an employer set up, of your webcam); audio and video are not.
No video in a practice session: your screen is not recorded as video and nothing from your camera is recorded or sent, but snapshots of your on-screen work are kept. Those snapshots — the diagram or code you produce in a technical interview — are kept until you delete them, and during the role exercise, which the interviewer starts and ends, still images of your screen go to Anthropic’s Claude models through OpenRouter, a provider based in the United States, so the interviewer can follow your work; no frames are kept as evidence in a practice session, but in an interview an employer set up, your screen and camera are also recorded as one video the organisation can watch, deleted after 30 days (as is the phone’s own video, when that interview uses your phone as a second camera). Frames the monitoring flags in that interview are kept as evidence the organisation can see, and are also deleted after 30 days.
Benchmark contribution lets your sessions help improve InterviewSparrow’s scoring, anonymised. It is off unless you turn it on in Your data.
